Orlando, FL.- During domestic violence awareness month, the non-profit organization, Nuevo Sendero in alliance with Esperanza United held the comprehensive training program for survivors, the Hispanic Academy of Self-Sufficiency, “Sembrando Esperanza”, where 10 participants received training in various areas of entrepreneurship, with experienced professionals, so that they can start their projects with the necessary tools to make them sustainable.
Likewise, the contribution of $25,000 dollars was given to each participant for an amount of $2,500 to develop and launch their ventures and motivate them to empower themselves and be able to break the cycle of violence, and be more productive entities for our society.
Diana Mejia, founding CEO of the organization, and the new president Olga Aymat, said they felt honored by this alliance, since their goal has always been to be able to help Hispanic women position themselves in the productive sector and provide them with a future on a bright path.
The program is designed to train and motivate women, especially Hispanic women, to prepare and achieve success in different aspects of their lives, and transform them into a healthy entity for our society.
In the program, free of cost for participants, they were trained in topics such as Finance, Digital Marketing, Sales, Comprehensive Communication, Leadership and Personal Development.
